Has Anybody Seen the New Nickel?

I haen't seen one of these things in the two months that they've been out; it's bizarre. I don't even see them at coin shows, which is even more strange since coin retailers normally go batshit whenever there is a new coin out, making all kinds of "limited edition" (if 100,000,000,000 counts as "limited") sets with flags and plaques and qhatnot attached. I keep pestering the bank, the grocery store, Wal-mart, wherever I am spending money I always ask to rifle through the cashier's nickels and have yet to find one.

Well, I've seen pictures -- I meant has anybody actually seen one in circulation. It came out in March. There's another one (Lewis & Clark) coming out later this year as well. I'm not sure if the Monticello design is being retired or supplemented or what.

I have one. I guess in the last day or so. I did a double take today paying for a Gatorade, instead of giving the nickel, I gave a dime to cover the 3 cents on the $2.03 price.
